Do you provide storm and hazard service?
Yes!
We get a lot of severe weather here in Alberta whether it be wind, snow, hail and rain so its important to be ready for a tree-mergency! We provide storm damage and hazard assessment whenever it's needed.
Do you have a minimum charge?
We have a minimum charge of $100 to $150 for services that are completed, depending on your location.
What is the best time of year to prune your trees?
Pruning can be done at any time of the year except for Elm trees, which can only be pruned between October 1 and March 31 due to the risk of spreading Dutch Elm Disease.
Pruning during dormancy (winter) is a common practice as it produces a large amount of new growth in the spring.
One reason you may want to prune in the summer however, is so any damaged or diseased limbs can be seen more easily.
What do you charge for a quote?
Quotes are free within and up to 30 minutes outside Calgary. A $50 charge will apply outside these limits but will be deducted from your total if you choose to go ahead with your quote.
