Between September 30th and March 31st is the time to get your Elm trees pruned or removed. It's actually against bylaw to do so at any other time of the year as it highly encourages spread of Dutch Elm Disease! Dutch Elm Disease is a fungal disease that is spread by elm bark beetles that has destroyed millions of Elm trees across North America.
